Amelia Troubridge was born in in 1974 in London, the youngest of six children. Self taught as a photographer, Amelia first picked up a camera in 1992 that was left to her by her father.
In 1996 her first social documentary story, ‘Dublin’s Urban Cowboys’ won the Young Photographer of the Year at the Nikon Press Awards; the first of many awards.
Since the Amelia has been a prolific photographer working for the likes of Esquire, Sunday Times Magazine, Vanity Fair, Tatler and Dazed & Confused.
Troubridge’s photographs feature in the 2014 Proud Camden exhibition Nick Cave: Chasing the Myth.
