Chris Dreja was born on November 11, 1944 in Surbiton, Surrey, England. He was a founding member of rock band The Yardbirds, and is well known for his rhythm guitar and later, bass. After the Yardbirds broke up, Dreja retired from the music business to become a photographer. He became very successful and took many images and album covers for Led Zeppelin. He was elected into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (as a member of the Yardbirds) in 1992. Dreja's work features in Proud Chelsea's 2015 exhibition Led Zeppelin From The Beginning.
