Jimi Hendrix at The Record Plant, NYC, 1968
Eddie Kramer is known for working with the biggest names of an era he likes to call The Golden Age of Rock and Roll. Capturing the generation of freedom; Kramer was afforded the opportunity to take intimate pictures of Hendrix, The Stones, and Zeppelin, by virtue of his close working relationship with them. The camera was his means of expression and an outlet for his artistic temperament. His fascination with the camera started while watching his father developing prints at home as a child and led to his professional printing by the age of 14. His camera captured the most iconic rockers of the 20th century presenting one-of-a-kind views into a clandestine world, some of which Proud Chelsea featured in The Decca Years: The Rolling Stones 1962- 1971. Eddie Kramer's work with Jimi Hendrix features in Proud Camden's 2015 exhibition Jimi Hendrix by Eddie Kramer.
