Elliott Landy, born in 1942, fast tracked his career as a photographer by becoming the official photographer at the Woodstock festival in 1969 at the young age of 27. He began his photographic career documenting the anti-Vietnam war movement working for an underground news paper. He has since become well renowned for his diverse array of photographs documenting the iconic musicians of the 60’s such as Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and Jimi Hendrix. His work has frequented the front pages of LIFE, Rolling Stone and The Saturday Evening Post. Landy exhibited an eclectic and immersive collection of his photographs from Woodstock Festival at Proud Camden in 2009 entitled Budweiser Presents: Woodstock Vision.
