Milton H. Greene was an American fashion and celebrity photographer as well as a producer for film and television. He is best known for his collaborations with Marilyn Monroe from 1953 to 1957 after they met at a shoot for Look magazine. Noted for his fashion photography that appeared in Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, Milton turned his attention to celebrity culture and photographed many high-profile personalities of the era including Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra and Audrey Hepburn. Greene's work featured in the 2015 Proud Chelsea exhibition 'Sinatra at 100: A Century in the Making' and his collection of Marilyn Monroe photographs will be showcased in Proud Central’s 2018 exhibition ‘Up Close with Marilyn: Portraits by Milton H. Greene’.
