Keith Richards & Gram Parsons
Keith Richards and Gram Parsons at the Villa Nellcôte, South of France, 1971
Presented in association with Raj Prem Fine Art Photography
Dominique Tarlé is a highly acclaimed French photographer, famous for his affiliation with the Rolling Stones during their evasion of the tax regime in Britain in 1971, when they attempted to hide out at Keith’s home in the South of France. Tarlé’s photographs of the musicians in exile capture the decadence and hedonism of the creation of the album ‘Exile on Main Street’ from a distant and almost voyeuristic position further drawing the viewer in and allowing them to understand why his photographs are jewels in any Stones archivists’ collections. Tarlé was recently part of the highly anticipated Stones retrospective exhibition at Proud Chelsea- The Decca years: The Rolling Stones 1962-1971 in 2011.
