BB King, London, 1973
In 1972, Ian Dickson started photographing rock stars and numerous music magazines lined up to publish his work. With a collection that includes musicians such as David Bowie, Phil Lynott and Kurt Cobain, Dickson’s work has been recognised by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum not once, but four times. Dickson’s work has featured most recently in The Day the Music Died at Proud Camden in 2011.
